It’s that time again where we at Dyce Community Fire Station are recruiting for on-call firefighters. The contracts have changed making it more flexible for people to join. If this is something you may be interested give the below a read ☺️

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have changed the available contracts to people who want to be an On-Call Firefighter. Have you considered helping to protect your local community and making a competitive wage while doing so? You can also work for SFRS alongside your Full-Time employment with some of the contracts shown below:

Level 1: Commit to being available for call-outs up to 30 hours per week (Only considered if offering all daytime availability)

Level 2: Commit to being available for call-outs between 31-60 hours per week (Only considered if offering mainly daytime availability)

Level 3: Commit to being available for call-outs between 61-90 hours per week

Level 4: Commit to being available for call-outs between 91-119 hours per week

Level 5: Commit to being available for call-outs between 120 hours and above per week

The higher the contract the higher the monthly wage. Are you considering applying for your local station?

***Dyce Community Fire Station Recruitment Open Day Saturday 5th October 10am till 3pm***

Come round to the station and have a chat in a relaxed atmosphere. We will provide teas and coffees and give you the opportunity to engage with some of the crew.

Dyce Community Fire Station are currently recruiting.

All our firefighters currently commit to a separate full–time job as well as their commitment to the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service.

•Do you live or work in Dyce and have the capacity to respond to call outs during the day or night?

•Do you have a passion for keeping your community safe?

•Do you want to work as part of a close team, learn new transferable skills and broaden your horizons?

•Are you over 18, physically fit, and want to earn a monthly wage?
