Parents can’t always be there.

Men’s Health Week – Let’s Talk Stress
We all feel it… work gets busy, life piles up, and before you know it you’re running on empty.
Truth is, stress isn’t just “being a bit busy”. it builds up. And when you don’t deal with it, it sticks around.
Loads of people are in the same boat too… most say work is the main cause, and a lot of us have felt completely overwhelmed at times. You’re definitely not the only one.
So if things are feeling a bit much at the minute:
take 10 minutes to yourself
get moving (even a short walk helps)
have a chat with someone you trust
No big speeches needed. Just don’t keep it bottled up.
Looking after your head is just as important as anything else

⚠️ 48% of accidental drownings happen between June and August*

☀️ Warm weather. ❄️ Cold water. ❗Real danger.

If you fall in or get into trouble, stay calm. Float on your back and call for help.

✅ See someone struggling? Throw something that floats, like a football. Call 999, ask for the Coastguard if you’re at the coast.

❌ Never enter the water to attempt a rescue.

Make sure your group knows what to do. It could save a life. Start by taking 5 minutes to learn the water safety code: https://orlo.uk/tyNa4

If you get into trouble in the water, remember: 💙 Float to Live. 💙

If you fall in or become tired, stay calm, float on your back, and call for help. If someone else is in trouble, throw them something that floats.

How to float:
• Tilt your head back to keep your airway clear
• Keep your ears submerged in the water
• Relax and focus on your breathing
• Spread your arms and legs to stay balanced
• Gently move your hands and feet if needed
