We have now updated the rateable values for over 2 million commercial properties across England and Wales.

Rateable values are used by local councils to calculate business rates bills.

Every 3 years we update these values to reflect changes in the property market. Current values came into effect on 1 April.

You can let us know if you think there is something wrong with your new valuation.

When you submit a Council Tax band challenge, we may ask you to provide up to 5 comparable properties or sales data as evidence.

We ask you for evidence because we want you to be in the right band and it helps us to identify cases likely to result in a change.

Has your business rates bill changed?
