The winner of the Scarecrow Trail is “Jaws” located on the rear of Station Street. There’s still time to go and see all the entries today including a couple situated on Rose Terrace up towards East Hedleyhope. Well done to everyone who entered - the judges remarked that all the entries were of a great standard, congratulated and thanked everyone on their efforts.

Wednesday’s (2nd September ) film is ‘Mercy’. Doors open at 6.45pm and film starts at 7. Bar is open until 11pm and ices available in the break. Run time 1hr 40m.

In the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate.
