Positive Directions N.E. - CIC is 10 years old!

On this very special anniversary and milestone, we reflect on what has been an incredible journey so far for PDNE and all those involved - full of highs and lows - but more importantly the outstanding positive impact that the work of the CIC and our incredible team has had on so many people this past decade.

We are so very fortunate to have a passionate, dedicated and loyal team, and we feel blessed to work alongside some amazing partners, individuals, professionals, contractors and organisations, whose impact is far reaching and whose professionalism and contribution help us deliver the fantastic service that PDNE are recognised for.

The biggest THANK YOU to our wonderful tenants and learners (past and present), also our loyal and unwavering supporters and , you play a huge part in what makes PDNE a success and a pleasure to be a part of.

We are so proud of the journey and the transformational work that has been achieved by the CIC, and the excellent reputation that PDNE has built over so many years, what a journey it has been.

In this episode of Hope in Hell, he talks openly about his childhood, the pull of identity and reputation, and how prison life both hardened and eventually reshaped him.

The conversation moves through fear, masculinity and survival, before turning towards responsibility, recovery and the importance of seeing real examples of change within communities. It’s a powerful reminder that people don’t start out wanting to cause harm - but they can end up there when no other path feels visible.
