Activities are just £1 to £2 per child, with sessions from 12 noon to 2pm.

❤️ Remembrance Day Parade & Civic Service ❤️ Join us on Sunday 8 November as Dunstable comes together to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict 🎖️

The Remembrance Day Parade will set off from Grove House Gardens and make its way through the town centre to Priory Gardens, where a two-minute silence will be observed following the striking of the Maroon signal. Wreaths will then be laid at the War Memorial before a service takes place at Priory Church. All are welcome to attend.

Show your support by lining the High Street and joining us in remembrance as we honour their legacy and ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

📍 Please note that High Street North and High Street South, between Grove House and Priory House Heritage Centre, will be temporarily closed from 10.30 am to 11 am on Sunday 8 November to accommodate the parade.

We also invite residents to join us at the War Memorial in Priory Gardens on Wednesday 11 November at 11 am for the Act of Remembrance. Together, we will observe a two-minute silence to honour those who have served and sacrificed, and reflect on the courage, dedication and selflessness of all who have given so much.

🎃👻 HALLOWEEN MARKET UPDATE! 👻🎃

Get ready for a fantastically spooky morning at Middle Row Markets, Dunstable TODAY – Saturday 24 October! 🕷️🧙‍♀️

Unfortunately, due to the yellow weather warning and forecast conditions, Middle Row Markets will now be operating until 1.30pm instead of 3.30pm.

But don’t worry – there is still plenty of Halloween fun to enjoy! 🎃

The Halloween walk-through will now be part of our Bites on The Square Half Term Halloween Event on Wednesday 28 October, from 10 am to 3 pm on The Square. There will be delicious street food, FREE face painting, and lots of Halloween fun for the whole family! 🎃🍔

So, wrap up warm, bring the family and come along this morning to support our fantastic local traders. There are plenty of unique gifts, delicious treats and local goodies to discover. ❤️

🎄✨ The countdown has begun! Just 5 weeks to go! ✨🎄

In just 5 weeks, we’ll be hosting our ever-popular Christmas Carols and Torchlight Procession on Friday 27 November from 7 pm in The Square, Dunstable (LU6 3NS).

From 7 pm, school choirs from across Dunstable will fill The Square with the sound of Christmas carols, accompanied by the Dunstable Salvation Army Band.

Look out for a special visit from Father Christmas, along with the Grove Theatre Dunstable Panto cast of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. Then watch as Dunstable’s Christmas Tree is switched on, followed by a spectacular light show to round off the evening. 🎅🎄✨

There’ll be plenty to enjoy beyond The Square too, with food and drink stalls along Middle Row and Priory House Gift Shop open late for hot food, drinks and Christmas gifts. 🎁

New for 2026, a large screen will also be in place, giving visitors a clearer view of the performances and all the key moments throughout the evening. 🎶🎺

So, wrap up warm, bring your friends and family and join us as Dunstable comes together to welcome the start of Christmas! ❤️

🌿 We’re hiring! Assistant Town Ranger 🌿 Are you practical, proactive and passionate about helping to keep Dunstable looking its best?

Dunstable Town Council is looking for an Assistant Town Ranger to join our Grounds and Environmental Services team.

This hands-on role will help maintain high standards throughout the town centre, from cleansing and grounds maintenance to looking after street furniture and public spaces. You’ll also be a friendly, approachable face of the Council, engaging with residents, visitors and local businesses.

If you enjoy working outdoors, taking pride in your community and making a visible difference, we’d love to hear from you.
