Village Flagpole

Following a number of requests from residents and previous discussions, it has been decided to purchase a flag pole to erect in the centre of the village (final location TBC).

To start us off we have purchased a remembrance flag, St George's flag and a Lincolnshire flag. We are also looking into getting the Dunholme crest printed into a flag.

Community Orchards

The community orchard at the rear of the Manor Farm estate is a great success so far with the majority of the trees settling in amd growing well.

Due to this we are looking at applying for 2 further orchards - one on the green space of Monckton Way and one along the boundary of the new allotments site.

Applications will be submitted shorty - watch this space πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

Concerns raised re speeding on Honeyholes Lane

This has been brought to our attention by a resident and it was discussed at our full council meeting last night.

To help combat this we are looking to try and get volunteers to help form a community speed watch group - full training and equipment will be provided. You can spare as much or as little time as you have but would appreciate some regular volunteers.

We are also requesting the 30mph signs as you come into the village be moved back further away from the village.

We also received reports last month that some ducks have been run over on Honeyholes Lane and so we are looking at purchasing some more Warning duck signs and placing them further along the street so there is more time before getting to the duck pond area.
