Do you love nature? Then this event is for you!

We will be looking at how to ‘Make a Home for Wildlife’ – this will cover the many different ways you can bring wildlife to your garden or local area. From bat boxes to ponds, and everything in-between!
There will be a talk followed by a practical session where we will make bird boxes that you can take home with you!

Two wildlife walks coming up in Rex Park are open for bookings! 🌿

We have two wildlife walks coming up in Dunfermline as part of the Lyne Burn Project!

🦆 Join Paul Blackburn, BTO British Trust for Ornithology Representative for Fife and Kinross, and Alexandra Hoadley, Conservation Officer at Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, for a walk around Rex Park in Dunfermline. The walk will be an introduction to different bird identification and survey techniques, including breeding bird surveys.

Date: Thursday 12th May
Time: 7pm-8.30pm
Location: Rex Park, Dunfermline
Cost: Free!

🦋 Butterfly Conservation Scotland are running a Butterfly Walk in Rex Park on Saturday 14th May, from 1pm-3pm. For full event details, and to book onto the event, see the event listing on their website - https://butterfly-conservation.org/events/butterfly-excursion-dunfermline

During this event we expect to see up to seven different species of butterfly. You will be shown how to identify the different species we come across, and will be given free guides to take away to help you look for butterflies in your own area!
