Saline Primary School

Saline Primary School Saline Primary School is the only primary school in Saline. We expect the same of all those contributing to our page.

The school serves the villages of Saline and Steelend plus numerous farming families within our catchment area. Social Media House Rules - www.fife.gov.uk/HouseRules

Our social media channels feature a variety of information from our services and partners, keeping you informed and up to date with what's happening across Fife. We're here to help in any way that we can, and we will always aim to be

supportive and respectful in our posts and any comments we respond to. We want our social media channels to be safe, healthy, and open places for discussion and the exchange of views and we have the following house rules to help support that.

- All users must comply with the social media platform's terms of use as well as our own terms of use
- We answer enquiries/messages as soon as possible within working hours
- We will remove, in whole or in part, posts that we feel are inappropriate โ€“ for example bullying or harassment - or discriminatory against any individual or group
- You are wholly responsible for any content you post including content you choose to share

We will remove messages (where function allows) and report and/or block users on our social media channels who post messages at us which we believe are:

- abusive or obscene
- deceptive or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property rights, including copyright
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam and off-topic content (persistent negative and/or abusive posts in which the aim is to provoke a response)
- promotional material, including links to external websites and promotions

Anyone repeatedly engaging with us using content or language which falls into the above categories will be blocked and/or reported to the associated social media platform. We will not tolerate or respond to abusive messages. We must always remain politically neutral on social media which is why council officers are unable to reply to, endorse or engage with, any content that is of a party political nature. Political issues can be discussed with local councillors.

๐ŸŒŸ Health Week Reminder! ๐ŸŒŸ

We are excited to kick off our Health Week! Here are a few important reminders to help your child get the most out of the activities:

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Clothing: Please ensure children wear suitable sports clothing (no cropped tops or very short shorts).
๐Ÿ’ง Water: Bring a water bottle filled with water (no juice, please).
๐Ÿงข Sun Safety: A hat is essential, and sun lotion should be applied before school.

๐Ÿ’ƒ Special Events:

* Tuesday morning: Parents/carers are warmly invited to join us for a fun Zumba session led by one of our fantastic parents!
* We will also enjoy Musical Theatre Fitness with Gill, an inter-house football tournament, and our very own version of Saline Rox, a version of Hyrox with DC Fitness Fife.

๐Ÿ“… Thursday: School is closed for an in-service day / voting for the Scottish Elections โ€“ donโ€™t forget to vote!

๐ŸŽ‰ Friday Finale: Join us at the skatepark for a family picnic and our sports day races โ€“ everyone is welcome!
