📚 Our Long Stitch Bookbinding course starts on Wed 16 April.

Join us in DCA Print Studio over four evenings and learn methods that have been used since the Middle Ages.

You'll have the option to incorporate leather elements and use decorative stitches to create unusual books that you could use as a gift or keep for yourself as a journal or scrapbook.

So that went rather well, back in the studio after presenting at the Society of Bookbinders Conference in York. Many new converts to the elegant method of board reattachment and I learnt some things too.

⭐Meet the Deacon...Emma Fraser⭐

As Deacon of the Cordiners, Emma represents the trade at events and promotes awareness in the city, she is also an advisor in the Nine Trades Digitisation Project. Her focus is on preserving the heritage aspect of the Trade, aiming to rebrand as the 'Heritage Trade' to better assist Dundee's heritage and remain relevant in the absence of traditional shoe workers.
