Our Network Champion, Dr Tom Russ, featured on BBC Sounds’ Lunchtime Live yesterday to discuss the recently released Alzheimer's Society survey, which spotlights lengthy waiting times for a dementia diagnosis in the UK. Tom highlights the need for care pathways that put people with dementia and their families at the centre, notes that biological markers are a positive step towards more robust diagnosis, and stresses that continued research and innovation are essential.
