We had a fantastic time attending Transform Business Festival 2026 at the Dundee Science Centre this week. 🚀

It was great to connect with so many ambitious businesses and inspiring organisations, including Business Gateway and Elevator UK, all coming together to help businesses grow and thrive.

We also enjoyed hearing from keynote speaker Dave Coplin, who shared insightful thoughts on the future of work, digital innovation, and how humans + machines can work smarter together.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us in the Eco System Village — it was brilliant to meet you all!

Police Scotland have received an alarming number of reports of livestock attack by dogs over the past few weeks, either by unaccompanied dogs or those being walked "off lead". We are entering a particularly vulnerable time of year for sheep flocks with heavily pregnant ewes on the farms.

🐾 Be a Responsible Dog Owner in Scotland 🐾

Enjoying Scotland’s great outdoors with your dog? Let’s make sure everyone can enjoy it safely and responsibly 💚

✔️ Keep your dog under control
Use a lead or make sure they have solid recall—especially around people, livestock, and wildlife.

💩 Always clean up after your dog
Bag it and bin it properly. If there’s no bin nearby, take it home with you.

🤝 Respect others
Not everyone loves dogs. Manage your dog calmly around other walkers, children, cyclists, and animals.

🐑 Protect wildlife & livestock
Keep dogs on leads in sensitive areas and during nesting or lambing seasons. Never let them chase farm animals or birds.

👀 Stay aware of your surroundings
Watch for traffic, changing weather, and hazards. Reflective gear helps keep you both visible in low light.

🌍 Care for nature
By being responsible, you’re helping protect Scotland’s landscapes for everyone.

A little care goes a long way — for your dog, other people, and the environment 🐕💙

Criminals are sticking their own QR codes on top of legitimate ones on meters in council-owned car parks

Rather than scanning QR codes it's safest to pay using an official app downloaded from your smartphone’s app store, or cash/card if possible
