Monday 17th 4.30pm City Square - Stop the Cuts!

Anti Cuts Demonstration
Dundee has faced millions of pounds in cuts from its budget over the last decade. February will see that process continue unless our Councillors are met with a strong challenge that says - stop the cuts.

Service users, project members and trades unionists will be meeting in City Square from 4.15pm on Monday 17th February for a demonstration starting at 4.30pm, some people plan to go into the Council meeting. We want to tell our councillors to prioritise the needs of Dundee’s citizens. Further planned cuts to projects and centres will harm our communities. Caird Park Golf Club, Douglas Community Centre, Boomerang, Brooksbank, Dundee International Women’s Centre and others all face threats. Living Rent will call for Rent Controls.

Come and let the Councillors know your views - action will continue through out the month.
