🍇🍏Fruit Kebab Fun! 🥝🍓

At Day Care -@

Our service users had a wonderful time getting creative by making their own delicious fruit kebabs today! 🍓🍇🍍

Activities like this are a fantastic way to encourage choice, independence, creativity, and social interaction, while also promoting healthy eating. Everyone enjoyed selecting their favourite fruits, carefully building their kebabs, and, of course, tasting the finished creations! 😊

Last week some of the CASS team attended a workshop at DGRI with Tommy Whitelaw, National Lead for Person Centred Care Voices at The Alliance.
The workshop supported reflection on Person Centred Care, Intelligent Kindness, # What Matters to You?” and Self-care and active listening.
Tommy brought these themes to life through his powerful personal story of caring for his mum during her terminal illness.
Staff found it engaging, reflective and inspiring.

CASS will be linking in with Tommy to bring more workshops into Dumfries and Galloway for Health and Social Care staff across the region.
