Ward walk this morning. Dudley fields covered lots reported. Pavements,roads,cutting back of overgrowth, neighbour issues flagged. Lots done today the officers that attended from housing and greencare were really helpful.

All case work done I am having a weekend off! 60th birthday in Bridgnorth today for one of my best mates. Safe to say I won’t be taking on anything tomorrow either 🤣

This may be a disruption to next weeks deliveries. If you find your collection missed then please leave it on the side of the road where it is possible. Due to the caustic nature of hydrated Lime I am just happy that no one was hurt and that we aren’t talking about something more serious than a missed collection. Any issues anyone has please feel free to contact me 👍

🚨 Update on waste and recycling collections 🚛
Following an incident at the Dudley Energy from Waste Facility at our Lister Road depot on 10 June 2026, some waste and recycling services have been and will continue to be affected over the next 7 to 9 days.
Our crews will be working over the weekend to manage the situation; however, disruption is expected to continue into next week as we work hard to catch up ♻️
If we have been unable to carry out your collection on the scheduled day please leave at kerbside and we will collect them as soon as possible, in most instances we will aim for this to be the following day.
We will share further updates as soon as we can.

They say god works in mysterious ways…. As I was dropping of donations from myself and Councillor Steve Edwards at St Mark's C of E Primary, Pensnett I had a message about fly tipping at St. Mark's Church, Pensnett. I obviously did what I could bagged it up and pleased to say less than 2 hours later it has been collected by the Green care team for disposal 👍👍
