Christmas is coming to Droitwich fire station!

This morning, whilst crews were responding to an emergency incident, a total of 4 drivers ignored the emergency “Wig Wag” lights & proceeded to hinder the progress of the appliance. These lights are operated for the safety of our crews & the public when fire appliances leave the station. It is ILLEGAL to cross the stop line when the red lights are flashing. All appliances have CCTV should it be required.

Droitwich fire crew will be in Victoria Square on Saturday 16th morning between 10am and 12pm. We will be talking to residents about any concerns around home fire safety. Also the opportunity to talk to us about a free home fire safety visit that Droitwich crews carry out.
We will still be available for emergency calls so may get called away or postpone the date if we are required for emergencies on the day.
