After Spot on cleaning services excellent job cleaning the remembrance gardens shelter , today we gave the back wall and pillars a paint to cover what was left of the graffiti, a big thank you to Jane at Crown Paints for kindly donating the paint for the job

Just.like to give a big shout out to Spot on cleaning services Driffield for volunteering their services , time and energy to clean the memorial garden shelter at Northend .After the recent vandalism to the shelter Aaron and his dad spent a full day cleaning not only the walls , but the roof , benches , the memorial stones and the paths , great to see a local company helping out in the community

After getting a quote for nearly eight thousand pound to replace the broken elephant ride at ST Margaret's park , a search of the internet found a replacement, delivered to the depot, the elephant looked a little worse for ware , but a quick trip to the sand blaster man , and a fresh coat of paint , it looks as good as new , and all done for less than five hundred pounds

We have spent a few days tidying up the frontage of the old Clarks building , repairing the sill and giving the full front windows a new paint job, We will be painting the guttering and stone work and top windows in the coming weeks

Well that's christmas sorted. What a great night! All the effort we have put in from September paid off. The refurbished cross street frames that tidy team member Dave Dale spent hours renewing look amazing, and the new festoon lights above the shops look great. Hopefully we can do the same on the other side next year. Well done to Michelle Flake, Ashley Dean and the other town councillors for all their efforts on the night, and to the traders that supported the market a big thank you, it was touch and go for a while but we got though it.
