Soft launch vibes ☕

We’re very excited (and a little nervous!) to say that Castle Street Coffee will gently open at 9am on Friday 6th Feb.

This is our soft launch — a chance for us to settle in, get to know the flow, and welcome some friendly faces through the door. Please do bear with us while we find our feet.

For now, we’ll be offering drinks and cakes, with more to follow very soon.

Thank you so much for all the support so far — we can’t wait to finally welcome you into the space.

This weekend we are open as follows:
Friday - 9am to 4pm
Saturday - 8am to 6pm
Sunday - 8am to 5pm

Local Whites supporter Tom Bird is hosting a Football Trivia Quiz on Friday 27 February, raising money for the Ruth Strauss Foundation in memory of his cousin Liam.

Taking place at The Cricketers, with a 7.30pm start. Entry is £5 per person (including food), with raffle prizes and fun games on the night. Teams of up to eight.

You can turn up on the night or book in advance by messaging Tom or The Cricketers directly. A great cause led by one of our own – please support if you can 🤍🖤

Hello all, Jules here 👋

You’ll find me at the bar today, staring into space and pretending I’m thinking deeply about spreadsheets but really, I’m just excited about the new menus we’re launching tomorrow!

We’ve been working on two new menus that’ll not only serve up proper homecooked pub food you know and love but they’ll also help you save a few quid too.

And let’s be honest, who doesn’t need that in January?
