The Centre has virtually swept the board for tourism awards including the acclaimed “England’s Visitor Attraction of the Year 1991”, the British Tourist Authorities “Come to Britain Special Award” and the prestigious British Travel Award from the Guild of Travel Writers. The White Cliffs Experience has also won the UK Tourism Marketing Award for Visitor Attractions, a Civic Trust design award and the Interpret Britain Award for the creative way the Centre interprets Britain’s history.
