🌊 The 2026 Christchurch River Pageant is set for an epic day out! 🏴‍☠️

We’re thrilled to see so many of you already signing up to participate—but there’s still plenty of time to join the fleet! Here is what’s in store for a day of fun on the River Stour this Saturday, 25th July:

📍 11:00 AM – Basecamp at Tuckton Tea Gardens: Join us early to browse a fantastic selection of local traders and stalls. It’s the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere before the action begins!

🕛 12:00 PM – The Pageant Sets Sail: Our grand fleet of boats, sailing dinghies, dragon boats, rafts, paddle craft, and more will be released progressively from Tuckton, creating a spectacular procession all the way to Christchurch Town Quay.

🎉 The After-Party at Tuckton: Once the pageant completes its journey, the fun returns to Tuckton Tea Gardens! Stick around for:

🎶 Themed musical entertainment

🍔 A sizzling BBQ

🎯 Games and additional stalls for all the family

Whether you’re taking part on the water or cheering from the banks, it’s going to be a day to remember. Let’s celebrate our beautiful river together!

Our 2026 River Pageant is back on Saturday, 25th July, and we want every vessel on the water! Whether you’re captaining a larger motorboat, a classic sailing dinghy, or bringing a paddlecraft —join the fleet for an unforgettable day.

Why join the fun?

* Community: Bringing our town together on the water.
* Impact: Celebrating the fantastic work of our local Rotary clubs.
* Charity: Raising vital funds for Hengistbury Head Outdoor Centre, Bourne Water Dragons, and Pink Champagne.

It’s free to enter (although a donation to our charities would be appreciated ;-)) and open to all! Fancy dress is optional, but highly encouraged. 🦜
