rtnership make it possible for us to provide a bus service to our less mobile members to ensure all users can access our group. Adapt Café supporting people living with Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and their Carer’s. We continuously research to ensure users are getting all the benefits and support they are entitled to. Monthly Musical exercise class to improve mobility of joints, strengthen muscles, and enhance mood and frequent crafting sessions allowing members of the group to express themselves. Those living with dementia can still experience sensation, relaxation, and reminiscence, our magic table is formed of interactive games which are specifically designed to stimulate all these three areas. Support Hub: Our Wednesday drop in allows existing services to work together in a more integrated way, offering face to face support without an appointment. Experienced advisers from Citizens Advice specialise in matters varying from law and courts to debt and Sovereign Housing Association and BCP providing housing advice to those in need and giving tenants the opportunity to meet with their team. Money Talks: Citizens advice offer advice and guidance regarding debt and money worries.
0-8yr project: Our term time group provides breakfast and toddler play for £1pp, it is a comfortable environment for the families and our half term group offers children's crafting activities for a donation of £1pp making it accessible to all. Dorset Mind: Dorset Mind Your Head run a Mind' n Chat group open to children and young people before and after there is a need for specialist support. seventy per cent of children who are experiencing a mental health condition do not receive the proper support they need, Dorset Mind and Dorset Mind Your Head work together in a bid to ensure all children are connected with a support system. Our Trustees, Staff and volunteers continuously work hard to build a one stop shop of face-to-face drop-ins from various support services to equip the community with a vital network of people they can trust and look to for support, whilst working on projects to greater our environment and keep us at the heart of the community. As a registered Charity we rely on donations and funding to maintain and operate our centre.
