It’s Independents’ Day! How Indie are you???

On July 4th we will be celebrating all of the independent retailers in Dorchester to showcase the many great reasons to come and visit and find something you can’t get online or anywhere else.

We already have about 20 local businesses ready to shout about what they’ve got. To join in and get some free publicity, drop me a note and I will write a cry for you and come and deliver it in front of your shop.

In 1630, a group of settlers left Dorchester UK bound for America and founded the town of Dorchester, Massachusetts near Boston. In preparation for the 400th anniversary of this event, Erin Caldwell recently visited Dorchester UK to do some research into what Dorchester was like and what drove them to seek out a new life overseas.
