It was great to see local residents come together at The Spinney, Balby for a community meeting this week, following a recent letter drop in the area🏡

We joined our partners Doncaster Council and South Yorkshire Police to listen to residents, answer questions and discuss ongoing work in the community 👂

City of Doncaster Council has received funding from the UK Government to administer the funding which aims to support low-income households who encounter a sudden, unexpected expense or financial shock, or an unexpected drop in income, or are at risk of entering crisis - a situation where immediate help is required to prevent harm or serious negative outcomes.

Crisis payments are intended to meet one-off or short-term needs and cannot be used as an alternative source of regular income.
