Installation spotlight✈️

Our airport-themed installation at Guernsey Airport is complete, and it's fair to say we had some fun with this theme!

Passengers big and small can now enjoy a play area that brings the airport experience to life, right down to the last detail.

A few things you'll spot in this one:
⭐ A runway-style road winding through the frame, complete with smiling plane characters ready for take off
⭐ Colourful luggage character graphics filling the netting panels as you make your way through
⭐ Padded obstacle sections and soft play elements keeping little travellers entertained while they wait
⭐ Branded GuernseyPorts panels and rules of play signage finishing the installation off perfectly

Designed, manufactured and installed by the House of Play team, this one was all about turning waiting time into play time, and we think it nails the brief.

New installation complete!🎉

We've just wrapped up an exciting project at Essendine Primary School, designing and fitting out three separate rooms of soft play and sensory equipment for the students to enjoy.

A few highlights from this one:
⭐ Soft play equipment built for younger learners to explore, climb and burn off energy safely
⭐ Dedicated sensory space designed to support all pupils
⭐ Fully designed, manufactured and installed by the House of Play team from start to finish

Another Deep Clean COMPLETED✅

This month we headed to Haverhill to give their leisure centre's soft play frame the full House of Play deep clean treatment!

From grubby padding and look out spots to worn play panels, our team worked through every inch of the frame, removing built up dirt, marks and grime to bring it back to looking fresh, vibrant and ready for little visitors again.

Progress at pace 👀

The Wave Active build continues, and things are really starting to take shape. Structure's up, colours are in, and the frame is coming to life across every level.

A few things you'll spot in this update:
⭐ Multi level frame taking shape, blues, purples and teals bringing the design to life
⭐ Interactive target wall and padded activity zones going in on the lower deck
⭐ GRP spiral tube slide installed and looking the part, glossy finish, smooth curves, ready for action
⭐ Rope bridges, crawl tunnels and soft obstacle elements filling out the upper frame

Every visit to site we're seeing this one come together piece by piece, and it's shaping up to be something really special.

Build In Progress...

The team has been hard at work this week as our project at Wild Wonderland starts to really come together⭐

We close out the week steel frame fully installed, padding and PVC wrap taking shape, and the netting installation well underway. On top of that, the safety flooring has now been laid ready for the next phase of build.

Keep your eyes peeled as we edge closer to completion and handover🛠️

We can't wait for the community to experience the brand new activity space taking shape at House of Play!!

NOW OPEN: Thornton Leisure Centre

12 weeks ago, this was an unused unit with a skatepark. Now, the ribbon has been cut and Thornton Leisure Centre welcomed its first families through the door.

517sqm of play space. 252 individual play features. A design that leans into the local area, with landmarks like Poulton and Memorial Park worked directly into the play frame theming, so the space feels like it genuinely belongs to the town it's in.

From first design conversation to opening day, this has been a proper team effort, and it's the partnership with the Thornton Leisure Centre team that made it happen.

Congratulations to everyone involved in getting the doors open. This one was a pleasure to build.
