We’ve made a start on another commercial project, this time at a fantastic office development in Manchester.

Our team has begun stripping out the existing fire alarm system, getting everything ready for the main project works to begin in the new year.

It’s an important first stage of the job and gives us a clean foundation for the new fire alarm installation to follow.

📹 CCTV Installation Underway in Liverpool 📹

Our engineers are currently installing a new Hikvision CCTV system at a newly developed apartment block in Liverpool.

The system is being positioned to provide reliable surveillance around key external areas of the building, helping to improve security for residents, visitors and the wider property.

From the initial system design through to installation and commissioning, our team delivers CCTV solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each site.

⚽ Coming Together for Men’s Mental Health ⚽

On Friday, members of the Optimum Fire & Security team took part in the Mason Owen Charity Football Tournament at Marine FC, helping to raise money and awareness for James’ Place.

James’ Place provides free, professional support to men experiencing a suicidal crisis, with one clear mission: to help prevent male su***de.

With male su***de continuing to affect families, friendships, workplaces and communities across the UK, it is vital that men know they are not alone and that support is available.

We believe men’s mental health matters. We also believe that talking openly, checking in with one another and removing the stigma around asking for help can make a genuine difference.

A huge thank you to Mason Owen for organising the event, everyone who took part, and all those who helped raise money for such an important cause.

Another new project underway for Optimum Fire & Security Ltd.

The team are taking on a brand new site in Northampton for a new client, supporting a Cat B fit out within a warehouse environment.

Our works include a new Texecom intruder alarm system, alongside fire alarm remedials to ensure the site is safe, compliant and ready for the next stage of use.

From new installations to remedial works, we continue to support commercial clients with reliable fire and security solutions delivered to the highest of standards.

A great opportunity to work with a new client, and another project delivered the Optimum way.

Great handovers don’t just finish a project. They give the client confidence in the system they’re using.

Following the successful handover of a fire alarm system at Ashby Dental Practice, we received this fantastic feedback for our Engineering Manager, Andy.

We're pleased to be back on site for another valued repeat client, this time at the impressive Woodsmill Quay development in York.

Our Passive Fire team has commenced fire stopping works within the communal areas, helping to maintain effective compartmentation and improve overall fire safety throughout the building.

🔥 Fire stopping is a critical element of passive fire protection, helping to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through service penetrations, voids and building compartments.
