Cleggs Cottage on the Copeland Island Family owned holiday home

Cleggs Cottage is a privately owned family holiday home on the Copeland islands.Originally it was a tenant farm inhabited by the Clegg family some of whoms relatives still live in Donaghadee,it is not for rent but all friends of the owner are welcome to visit anytime.

Is there anyone who is good at strimming, we have a petrol strimmer and I can manage in the front garden but the rest is well beyond me. A stay over here in return for some gardening is the offer. I know we asked before but it will be a physical challenge and would suit someone younger who is maybe used to using a strimmer over a long period. It's mainly nettles and thistle but there's other large weeds as well and all aid and advice is welcome.

We are over for the weekend and depending on the weather into next week, it might be a certain somebody's birthday today (she who must be obeyed) and no numbers will be mentioned. The Canadian flag is a nod to the land of my birth, it's a hard one for me, born in Canada, Scottish father, mother from here and allegiance to where I live and consider home...... Norn Ireland.

Edwina thinks it's the spitting image of me, I leave it up to you who knows me. My father Bill Ireland and Ronnie Ramm around 1950 as my father immigrated in the early 50s to Canada. Not sure where they are, but I don't think it's the island.

Over today to replace the faulty inverter on the solar, job done and everything up and running. Also a consignment of cement and paint for a few wee jobs. Back over either tomorrow or Monday for a few days as it's set fair for most of the week.
