A VERY SUCCESSFUL TWO DAYS WITH ‘ART IN NATURE’

This is sent with much appreciation for everyone's help both over the weekend and the preparation behind the scenes beginning many months ago and culminating in another fabulous event. This year's figures exceed 2025's with art sales at just under £6000 and cafe takings around £650.

The volunteer tasks included but were not confined to:
Distributing flyers and posters
Organising artists and artwork
Board collecting, erecting & delivering
Putting out road signs and not forgetting to collect!
Booking in and hanging the artwork
Setting up the hall and clearing away daily
Making a vast selection of tasty cakes & pastries (with very little left over for the weekly work parties!)
Serving in the cafe under the auspices of the Brew Crew
Taking the money and counting it!

Well done for getting the word out so that we had plenty of art lovers and cake eaters. Be prepared as we can see this happening again!

As you know, our latest acquisition of land has been named after Prince Freddy, and this weekend a special event took place to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Prince Freddy. Just a reminder if you are coming to the Exhibition on Monday the B1113 is closed during the day outside the Crosskeys pub for a classic car event. You will still be able to access Hinderclay from the North past the Poultry Factory, or via Thelnetham, but if coming from Botesdale/Rickinghall best to come past Rickinghall Village Hall towards Hinderclay.
