At their meeting on 8th June, Town Councillors voted to join 2036 other Parish and Town Councils throughout the country and sign the NALC's Civility and Respect Pledge:

We are introducing the Civility and Respect Pledge because there is no place for bullying, harassment and intimidation within our sector.

Last Saturday, our Town Councillors hosted a fantastic Open Mic night.

We were treated to amazing performances from talented acts ranging from just 7 years old and upwards. Every single performer was incredible.

The event was free to attend, with refreshments available and the bar was open throughout the night.

We are sorry that Dowse’s funfair has not been able to come to Dinnington this year. They didn’t think that the Rugby Club was a suitable site and were not able to use the Constable Lane car park due to not gaining the relevant licence from RMBC and concerns raised by the police regarding anti-social behaviour. We hope to see them next year.
