While the closure is outside of our control, please be assured that we're reviewing potential providers to replace the service as soon as possible.

The Renters' Rights Act comes into effect today, which introduces new rules and rights for landlords and tenants.
The changes don't currently apply to social rented tenants, but some of them affect shared owners.

A new repairs contractor is taking over the delivery of our evening and weekend emergency repairs service for non-heating repairs.

Cornel Building Services – a Yorkshire-based, professionally accredited contractor – will now respond to any emergency repairs outside of Connect’s normal working hours.

We’d like to thank Mears, our previous provider, for delivering this service for the past several years.

Recently, we’ve received a lot of feedback from residents about parking.

Many of Connect’s neighbourhoods have communal parking spaces, which are used on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. We know that this can mean people have difficulty finding spaces close to home, and sometimes cars may even be parked in a way that blocks access.

We kindly ask everyone to:

-Use their driveway if they have one before using communal spaces.
-Park away from corners, junctions, and turning areas.
-Avoid blocking pavements, dropped kerbs, or access points.
-Speak with visitors about parking considerately.

Alongside our dedicated Lettings team, there are now eight Community Housing Officers, each covering a smaller area than before and providing a more joined-up service.
