Hedge laying is back in the park with the Estate Volunteers.
30 meters laid and staked today.
We aim to open up the sight lines into the meadow.
Laying the hedge will also improve the health of the hedge. It will create a denser hedge and encourage small birds to nest. The denser hedge will provide extra protection for nesting birds from predators .
