My name’s Georgia and I am passionate about the power of local community and love working alongside people, supporting them to achieve their vision of a good life. I want Kirklees to be a place where everyone has a great start to life, people live healthy and fulfilling lives, are enabled to achieve the

ir full potential, and contribute to their community. I work with communities in Ravensthorpe, Scout Hill, Pilgrim & Beckett Estate, and as the Local Area Coordinator for these area, I aim to:

- Take introductions from services, organisations and local people, support people in the local area to stay strong, build their personal capacity and prevent any need for service interventions by building on their strengths and natural support through local relationships.
- Be alongside people facing personal challenges, supporting them to achieve person-centred services within the context of a supportive community network around them.
- Help our public services to learn, understand and transform so they are integrated, person centred, and co-produced with communities. I have created this page as a means of sharing all of the amazing things I find within these neighbourhoods.
