Dorset, where do we even begin?! What. A. Weekend.

Thank you to every single person that joined us for the 2026 County Show.

Visitors, traders, sponsors, contractors and acts - you made the 2026 Show one for the history books. Whether you came for the animals, monster trucks, music or maybe the delights of the Food Halls. We hope you enjoyed the 2026 County Show.

The biggest thank you goes to the incredible army of stewards that work tirelessly to make the County Show. Each part of the Show is curated by so many incredible peoples commitment throughout the year and in build up which comes together to make your county show.

So for now, Dorset and all those from further afield as far as Canada and New Zealand. Thank you. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for making the 2026 Dorset County Show.

Until we get together in a field again … Goodnight Dorset… 👋

Day 2 of the Dorset County Show has begun!

We've got a large team on site, with multiple paramedics, an event medical manager, ECAs and first responders.

The sun is shinning and the show ground is filling up, do come and say hi if you see us!

Day 1 of the Dorset County Show is almost complete.

We've had a busy day with 100% of all patient contacts discharged back to the event avoiding any burden on the NHS.

The forecast looks great for day 2, if you see the team, do give us a wave!

We’re back at The Melplash Agricultural Society for our fourth year! 🚑🌾

We have a large medical team on site, looking after visitors, entertainers and event staff throughout the day.

The sun has finally made an appearance and the crowds are starting to fill the showground. If you spot the GWP team, come over and say hello! 👋☀️

While Kate has been hard at work unpacking boxes, organising equipment and getting our new office ready, our operational teams have been out across the South West keeping events and communities safe.

This week alone we've provided medical cover for:

• Forest Green Rovers (FGR) • Poole Speedway • SafeBus • Tauvu 7s Rugby Tournament 2026 • Figheldean Community Music Event • Rugby in Basingstoke

From professional sport and grassroots rugby to community events and late-night welfare services, our teams have once again delivered the high standard of care our clients expect.

A huge thank you to all of our paramedics, first responders, ambulance crews and office staff who continue to go above and beyond. Your professionalism, flexibility and commitment make it all possible.

🚑 Another busy week for GWP Medical Services!

It’s been another packed week for our teams, with a mix of Paramedics and First Responders providing medical cover across a huge variety of events.

⚡ Two of this week’s events also came to us at very short notice. We were pleased to be able to respond quickly, mobilising medical teams within just a few hours of the initial request and ensuring both events had the cover they needed.

From sporting fixtures and community events to graduations and larger deployments, it’s been another varied week across the South West.

A huge thank you to all of our Paramedics and First Responders who have been out representing GWP and keeping events running safely. 💜🚑

And with teams still out today, the week isn’t quite finished yet!

Eight seasons. A new multi-year partnership. 💚⚽

We're incredibly proud to announce that GWP Medical Services will continue as the medical provider for Forest Green Rovers, having signed a new multi-year partnership with the club.

This season marks our eighth consecutive season supporting FGR, something we're immensely proud of. Over the years we've built a strong relationship based on trust, professionalism and a shared commitment to delivering the highest standards of medical care on matchdays and beyond.

To have that relationship extended through a new long-term agreement is a fantastic vote of confidence in our team, and we'd like to thank everyone at Forest Green Rovers for their continued support.

We're looking forward to building on everything we've achieved together and supporting the club for many more seasons to come.
