GWP are back at Bath Christmas Market 2026!

We are absolutely delighted to be heading back to the Bath Christmas Market this year as the appointed medical provider!

Every day of the event we will have a Major Incident Management-trained (MIMMS) paramedic on site, working alongside our first responders and a fully crewed ambulance, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this wonderful festive event safely. Alongside supporting the public, our presence helps reduce the burden on the NHS during what is already one of the busiest periods of the year.

The Bath Christmas Market is one of our favourite events in the calendar, and we are proud to be trusted once again to keep it safe. Whether you're visiting for mulled wine, gifts, or just soaking up the festive atmosphere, rest assured there's a professional medical team looking after you.

What a week for the GWP team.

Across a very busy week, our crews have supported:

🏏 England women’s cricket match with a Paramedic
🐴 RDA disability riding club at West Wilts
🦁 Longleat Safari Park with a First Responder
🍻 Twisted Cider Day with two First Responders, including a tug of war
🏛️ Oxford Town Hall with a First Responder
🏃 Backyard Ultra Marathon with an Advanced Paramedic and First Responder
🎉 Bradford on Avon Fun Day with a First Responder
🏁 Tetbury Sack Race with a large medical team
🧘 Verve festival with a first responder team.

A huge thank you to every member of the team who has worked incredibly hard, especially in the heat.

We have treated a number of patients across these events, with the majority managed safely on site by our First Responders, Paramedics, Advanced Paramedics and on call clinical support, helping to keep people out of the NHS system wherever clinically appropriate.

Terrific work from everyone involved.

A proper team effort! The manager did treat them with an ice cream too!

It's been a busy 7 days for the whole team at GWP Medical Services

We rounded off the weekend at the Dorset Spring Show ensuring that everyone was safe and the impact to the local services was minimal.

Midweek we supported the Avon Valley Runners for the first of their 5km road races.

We're at Forest Green Rovers Football Club for a football tournament.

The team at Glastonbury Abbey have been enjoying theRave in the Nave.

We met Wera Hobhouse when she came to visit the Bath BID Safe Bus.

Then tomorrow we round off a very busy 7 days with Quad Bike racing, West Wilts Equestrian Centre and more football!

It's almost time to get ready for next week!

The sun is shinning and we've got teams out this weekend throughout the south of England. We've got our full fleet out alongside both of our directors.

It's been another busy weekend for team GWP.

We've been out across the region with teams in:

- Oxford
- Shaftesbury
- Bath
- Devizes

From the Bath BID Safe Bus to a cheese race it's been action packed.

We're back supporting some ECB cricket tomorrow for the bank holiday.

We have a team of four first responders today working in Melksham providing cover for a large rugby event. The boss has even treated them to an ice cream!
