Did you know our Operations Director has helped write textbooks for paramedics?

Alongside his work as an Advanced Practitioner, George Bell-Starr has also contributed to two paramedic textbooks published by Wiley-Blackwell.

📘 Fundamentals of Pharmacology for Paramedics (2022)
Chapter 14: Medications Used in the Gastrointestinal System.

📗 Fundamentals of Applied Pathophysiology for Paramedics (2024)
Chapter 15: The Musculoskeletal System and Associated Disorders.

Both chapters were co-authored with fellow clinician Ashley Ingram.

We're incredibly proud of our numerous 5-star Google reviews, but something we probably don't shout about enough is the experience behind our company.

We're CQC registered and run by two experienced Advanced Practitioners.

Our CEO, Gareth Ward, has been involved in NHS workforce development, helping shape the training and development of paramedics, particularly within primary care.Gareth continues to work as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in a senior clinical role within the NHS ambulance service.

Why does this matter to our customers?

What a few weeks it's been!

We're only just getting the last of the Weymouth beach sand out of places we didn't know sand could get after the sand racing event. Great fun, but we're going to be finding it for months!

Over the last few weeks, we've been busy supporting a wide range of events and organisations, including:

✅ Bath Film Festival and Royal Disco
✅ Bath BID safe bus

Tonight, we're back at Forest Green Rovers covering the FA Cup replay.

Westonbirt's autumn and winter events

Before things really ramp up for the fireworks season, where we'll have multiple teams out across several events, we're proud to continue operating to robust CQC standards. Maintaining high levels of governance, clinical oversight and compliance remains at the heart of what we do, and it's something that sets us apart from many providers. We are also run by Advanced Practitioners.

We are delighted once again to provide medical provisions for Poole Pirates Speedway. We've been there a few seasons now, and this was the ultimate race for this season. They became champions again. Well done, all. This was a bit of a hair-raising moment as our team watched on!

Kit calibration day!

We are having our annual equipment calibration day with an engineer from the lovely Darren Stones Engineering!

We always ensure our equipment is safe so we can provide YOU all with the best possible patient care!

The evenings are starting to become darker sooner, which we saw recently when we covered the Glastonbury Abbey at night, as this delightful photo shows. We are starting to see some of the events start to quieten down. From November, we start to pick up Christmas trails, firework displays, and some Christmas markets.

If you're a first responder or paramedic looking for some extra work, then please do get in touch. We have a great team, and we pay weekly. We have patient group directives in place to protect ourselves, and we supply all kit. We are CQC registered, and we have annual kit calibration to ensure that all the equipment that you have works.

We would be delighted to hear from anyone that is keen to get some extra work. The only caveat is you have to live within 60 minutes of the office in Devizes. The reason why we do this is that there are times where you need to collect kit, so just wanted to be upfront and honest. If you have to collect kit, we pay an additional attendance fee for this. The majority of the work is in the South West, mainly around Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath, and Oxfordshire.

The biggest thank you goes to the incredible army of stewards that work tirelessly to make the County Show. Each part of the Show is curated by so many incredible peoples commitment throughout the year and in build up which comes together to make your county show.
