During disturbances on Wednesday evening four of our residential teenagers participating in our Teenlink programme were on a planned trip to the Bowling Alley. On return to our accommodation the taxi in which they were travelling was blocked from moving forward. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the taxi driver Nick Nash from Foyle Taxi's who walked with the children to their accommodation, making sure they got home safely.

In 2024/25 alone, Women’s Aid proudly supported hundreds of women, children and young people who spoke 53 different languages, all living in and contributing to our communities here.

No one has the right to make anyone feel unsafe. If you do feel unsafe, please know that Women’s Aid is here to listen.
