👩‍🦰Do you have endometriosis, think you may be experiencing symptoms, or want to understand more about the condition? Come along to our friendly and supportive Endometriosis & Me workshop at Women’s Centre Derry.

💪🦸‍♀️We’ll talk about common signs and symptoms, managing pain and other symptoms, the impact endometriosis can have on your mood and everyday life, and ways to support your overall health and wellbeing.

💜🚺You don’t need to have a diagnosis to attend – this workshop is open to any woman who would like to learn more, ask questions and feel better informed about endometriosis. 💛

, 💜 **Have you taken part in any of these activities at Women’s Centre Derry?**

Over the past four years, our **Recover, Rebuild, Renew programme**, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, has supported women and their young children through a wide range of activities, including, to name a few:

👶 Baby massage, baby reflexology and Mum & Baby Swim
🎵 Baby and Toddler Music, Stay & Play and sensory play
🧘 Mum & Baby Yoga, exercise and walking groups
💜 Mums Well, maternal wellbeing and peer-support programmes
🗣️ Speech, language, story-time and play workshops
😴 Sleep, toileting, behaviour and nutrition workshops
🏫 Starting school and child-development support
🌈 Autism awareness, additional-needs information and SENAC workshops
🎃 Halloween, Easter and other family fun days
🤰 Antenatal education and support for mums-to-be

If you attended any of these or another activity supporting you and your young child, you have been part of Recover, Rebuild, Renew and we would love to hear from you.

We are now planning the programme’s next stage and are inviting women with children aged 0–4 to join a small, informal focus group.

Your experiences will help us understand what worked, what is still needed and how future support should be delivered.

Women’s Centre Derry is developing the next stage of our programme supporting women and their young children and your views will help shape it.

We want to hear from women who currently use our services, have participated in our programmes before, or have never used Women’s Centre Derry but may benefit from support in the future.

The anonymous survey asks about women’s wellbeing, parenting support, children’s development and wellbeing, barriers to accessing services, and the support that would be most helpful.

It takes approximately 5–7 minutes to complete. The more responses we receive, the better we can understand what women and young children in our community genuinely need.

📣 **RAISE YOUR VOICE – Engagement Workshops at Women’s Centre Derry**

Women’s Centre Derry, in partnership with WRDA, is hosting two free workshops exploring sexual harassment, consent, victim-blaming and how we can help create safer communities.

📅 **Monday 7 September | 10am–12pm**
**Sexual Harassment & Bystander Intervention**
Explore the links between everyday sexism, sexual harassment and gender-based violence, and learn **5 practical ways to intervene safely**.

📅 **Monday 14 September 2026 | 10am–12pm**
**Consent & Victim Blaming**
Explore what consent really means, sexual coercion, the impact of victim-blaming, how we can better support victims and survivors, and the role of the media.

These sessions are an opportunity to learn, discuss and build confidence in challenging behaviours that contribute to sexual harassment and gender-based violence.
