We’ve had some special visitors in school this past couple of weeks, with some very special little eggs joining us in Nursery as part of our topic on life cycles! Our wonderful Nursery children loved keeping the eggs warm in an incubator and watching 9 of them hatch into little chicks. It was a tough decision to name them, but the children had some fantastic ideas, so please meet our new friends: Pom Pom, Pop, Mario, Luigi, Bowzer, Princess Peach, Frozen, Pecky and Jonathan 🐣 🐥

It was lovely to see so many grown ups join Miss Wilson’s class in school last week. The children (and staff!) were grateful for many helping hands sewing Gruffalo puppets as part of their Donaldson’s Delights topic! I think you’ll agree just how wonderful they look - well done Miss Wilson’s class! 💙

We are excited to share details for our Summer Fair which our wonderful Friends of Codnor are busy organising as we speak! If anybody is available to help run any stalls, please contact Mrs Day at school, as any help is greatly appreciated! We are now also taking donations at school for the raffle and the stalls and these can be sent in to school at any time. This could be any unwanted gifts, drinks, sweet treats, raffle prizes etc… without these kind donations, our fair would not be able to run so if you do have anything to spare, it would be greatly appreciated! It is always a fantastic event, with lots of fun things going on, so please come and support us!

We are so excited to use this page to celebrate and showcase the many wonderful things happening in our school community, including pupils’ achievements, special events, and everyday learning experiences. Hello all. Just a quick one to advertise the Fashion Show tomorrow (6th March) kindly organised by Friends of Codnor. Tickets can be bought from the school office or on the door at £5. A spring & summer wardrobe sprucing opportunity, as well as a good night out! 👗👍 Complementary tea and coffee - and as always, you can bring your own drinks 🙂 Hope to see you there, in the Upper School hall at 7PM.
