These are our planned bus routes we return to operate from Darwen bus station Circus starting at 10 o’clock and running up to 4 o’clock we look forward to seeing you there so take a trip back in time when perhaps you used to travel on the Bus to work or school and things were a little bit less complicated, remember the good old days 😉😊👍

2026 marks the Centenary of the start of motorbus operations by Darwen Corporation, so to commemorate this important milestone, the Trust are organising another Vintage Bus Running Day on similar lines to the successful event held in March 2025 but with more vehicles hopefully in attendance, including some visitors with local connections. More details to be announced nearer the time but make a note in your diaries for Saturday 20th June. We'll be in Darwen Town Centre and plan to run some free services around the area. Yes, it's during the World Cup Football Tournament, but England aren't playing that weekend so come along and lend us your support instead !

Blackburn with Darwen's Children's & Young People's Literature Festival is back this month! 😄📚✨

There's events happening across the borough from 8th till 20th June; Schools have been invited to take part in sessions at local libraries with an exciting range of authors and artists, including legendary author, poet and broadcaster Michael Rosen, award winning author and libraries’ patron Christina Gabbitas, and BAFTA winning British American writer and producer Jocelyn Stephenson.
