We have developed a teaching philosophy based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that blends influences from Anna Ephgrave "In the moment philosophy" which is based on children learning in the "here and now". We incorporate many aspects of theories relating to how children learn which include Elinor Goldschmied who pioneered treasure baskets, treasure play and the key person system. We provide a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn and develop their interests through play. Our outstanding early years educators build on children's individual strengths and passions, setting a high standard for their learning and development. Each child receives a personalised approach that inspires and enables them to become a purposeful, life-long learner, enabling them to reach their unique potential.

As we said goodbye to our final school leavers this week, we would like to wish each and every one of them the very best of luck as they begin their next big adventure...Next Stop school! 🏫✨

Watching you grow, learn and flourish into the wonderful children you are has been such a privilege. We know you will continue to shine, make new friends, have lots of fun and create so many special memories along the way. 🌟

A huge thank you to Yard Park Dartmouth for our fabulous school leavers’ tops! They are absolutely lovely, and our children have loved wearing them. 👕💕

Good luck to all of our school leavers, we are so incredibly proud of you! 🥰

* New parents to The Old Station Nursery Group and existing parents claiming funding for the first time should:
