Support on tour 🎵

As well supporting our Artists of the Year, we also support talent with the help of our partners at Generator and the Northern Music Export Office 🎙️

Applications are still open for the UK Artist Touring Programme backed by the Export Office and the Featured Artists Coalition 🌎

It offers up to £10,000 in co-investment, alongside dedicated touring support, helping artists grow their audiences, gain live touring experience and build sustainable careers 🎸

Funding can be used towards transport, accommodation, crew, production, marketing and PR 📈

A series of public events are taking place this week to have your say and learn more about options for the proposed new road linking the A66 and A1(M) 🔗

The project's aim is to improve connectivity, support growth and reduce congestion across the area 🚛

They are taking place at:

📍 Harrowgate Club & Institute, Thursday, 10 September, 12.30pm to 6pm
📍 Cornmill Shopping Centre, Darlington, Friday, 11 September, 12.30pm to 5.30pm

A historic Darlington attraction is now easier to explore thanks to support from the Unlocking Access fund 🔓👣

Tees Cottage Pumping Station has used the funding to improve routes across the site, helping more people enjoy the 177-year-old working museum and discover its rich engineering history 🚰

Run by a dedicated team of volunteers, it is one of the museums, galleries, theatres and visitor attractions which has received practical support through the Combined Authority to become more accessible for all visitors, volunteers and staff 🤝
