Dalton Leisure Centre Dalton Leisure Centre is one of two committee ran self sustaining registered charity leisure centres

Dalton Leisure Centre comprises of a warm family-friendly swimming pool, Kid's Splash Zone with overhead tipping buckets, spray rails and a shark shower, two squash courts, two air-conditioned gyms, a spinning studio, Zen room and air-conditioned aerobics studio. There is a large lounge area with a cafe that has viewing to both the pool and squash areas.

Everyone is welcome – you don't need to be a member to attend! 🤗

Stay active throughout your pregnancy in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
Our Aqua Natal classes are a gentle, low-impact way to improve fitness, ease aches and pains, and meet other expectant mums.

🐬 Dalton Dolphins Swim School – Pyjama Reminder! 🐬

For our water safety certificates, please could parents bring suitable clothing for children attending:

🏊 Learn to Swim Stage 4 and above
🏊 Rookie Lifeguards at Friday night Swim Club

Children will need:

✅ Long cotton pyjama bottoms – ideally with a drawstring or tie waist to keep them secure during the activities.
✅ A T-shirt – short or long sleeves
❌ No onesies, please!

Please bring these every week for your child to take onto poolside alongside their usual swimming kit.

⚠️ Children must wait until their instructor tells them to put the clothing on. Please come ready to swim in normal swimwear first.

39 years! 🤯👏

Bill has been part of the DLC family through decades of change, countless members, classes, events, fundraisers, laughs and memories — and he continues to be a huge part of what makes our centre so special ❤️

From the early days of the centre right through to today, and many more still to come 😝 his dedication, hard work and commitment to the community have been amazing.
