Due To The Ongoing Double Parking Issues
Around The Junction of High Main Street Churchill & Knowehead
Double Yellow Lines With Yellow Blip Marks On The Kerbs Will Be Installed And Enforced.
Another Car Last Week Could Not Access Churchill For Cars Doubled Parked Outside The
CO-OP,Resulting In The Car Stalling And Rolling Back Through The Bollards Into Mrs McBrides House Again.
Luckily No One Was Walking Past At The Time
And The Driver Was Not Seriously Injured.
Residents Living In Churchill, Dalton Ave,
Melling Terrace Are Finding It Increasingly Difficult Accessing & Exiting This Junction Safely.
Parking Bays Will Be Marked Along The Side Of The CO-OP On High Main Street
With Blue Badge Holders Allowed To Park
On The Double Yellow Lines At The Side
Nearest The Junction.
These Lines Don’t have The Yellow Blip Marks On The Kerbs.
Which Means No Parking At Any Time.
