Here’s your chance to have your say on decisions about Midlothian’s future.

By joining Midlothian’s Citizens Panel, you will receive one or two short surveys a year on issues that matter to you and your local community. Your feedback will help shape decisions about local services and the next Single Midlothian Plan.

Register today and make your voice count: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/midlothian-panel/

The Citizens’ Panel is one way Midlothian Community Planning Partnership (MCPP) hears from local residents. MCPP brings together public and third sector organisations to work with communities and plan services that deliver better outcomes for people. Anyone aged 16+ living in Midlothian can join the Citizens’ Panel.

Community planning, under the Community Empowerment Act, is about public bodies and communities working together to identify local needs and improve outcomes. Partnerships create Local Outcomes Improvement Plans and Locality Plans to tackle inequalities. This approach gives communities a stronger voice, making services more responsive and fair.

If you have any questions, you can contact Engage Scotland at [email protected] or 0800 433 7212.
