Last night’s overnight ghost hunt and spooky sleepover at one of our own properties Monks Manor (Llanyrafon Manor Farm ) certainly proved to be a very interesting evening by all accounts, even communicating with one of our ghostly monks amongst other spirits. Good communication with family members also…

One of our lovely guests had brought along a doll she had recently purchased from a charity shop, hoping to investigate it during the night. During various sessions and while asking questions, some very interesting responses were reportedly coming through via equipment “Im inside it” suggesting there may have been a spirit linked to the doll.

Guests also reported equipment activating on command while asking the doll questions, leading to some very intriguing moments throughout the investigation.

Following the evening, the lady very kindly donated the doll to us, as she did not feel comfortable taking it home.

Firstly, thank you very much for your donation and trust. The doll will now remain with us while we carry out our own investigations and observations. It may eventually be moved to our other property, Hanbury Arms Haunted Hotel & Museum, home to what is believed to be the country’s largest collection of haunted objects.

We will of course keep you updated should there be any further developments once we begin investigating ourselves.

Thank you all so much for joining us. We truly hope you enjoyed your evening and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon — perhaps even at the Hanbury.

Thank you again 🖤

🌹 Walter’s Rose is Blooming Beautifully This Year 🌹

Our beautiful memorial rose is putting on a wonderful display once again at Llanyrafon Manor Farm.

Planted in memory of Walter Griffith, this rose celebrates one of the manor’s most significant historical figures. Walter was an attorney and landowner in the early 1600s whose family owned the manor for generations. Records show he played an important role in shaping the estate we know today, helping to establish Llanyrafon Manor Farm as a substantial residence and leaving behind a legacy that is still remembered over 400 years later.

As the blooms return each year, they serve as a quiet reminder that history is not only preserved in old documents and stone walls, but also in the gardens that continue to flourish.

Take a moment to stop, admire the flowers, and remember the people whose stories helped shape this remarkable place. 🌿❤️
