A client contacted us after receiving a letter from the Welsh Government highlighting the fire risks presented by lithium-ion batteries in their Community Council office.

Hearing that the Welsh Government have acknowledged the growing risks and are spreading awareness in our community councils is a big step forward in fire safety.

The revolutionary LFX fire extinguishers have been specifically designed to fight fires involving lithium-ion batteries by breaking down the chain reaction in thermal runaway.

Our client opted for the 6ltr LFX bundles which includes single stands and ID signs.

The LFX range are fluorine free and come in 3ltr, 6ltr and 9ltr sizes so suitable for all environments.

When Lewys joined the family business a few years ago, he never expected to be driving up the M4 the wrong way with the highway maintenance crew.

Our work isn’t always 8-5, it’s when and where we’re needed - this week was in the Brynglas Tunnels during 2 night closures.

As a small independent business, we go the extra mile to provide a professional and efficient service.

Oh, what’s occuring?

If you watched the Gavin and Stacey finale on Christmas Day you may remember the scene where Nessa was getting her overalls from the office at Associated British Ports?

Although it was portrayed as Southampton Docks, the scene was actually filmed on our doorstep at ABP Newport.

How does this relate to our work you may ask ……

Well, the fire alarm at the Port Office shown on tv was installed by us many years ago. Chris, our installation engineer, recognised it while watching the finale and told me about it.

Our fire alarm servicing engineer attended site yesterday following a reported fault on the system which reminded me to share this random piece of information.

Did you watch the finale and recognise any places filmed?
