This very hot week has finished with an unexpected call – some of our team reporting a wildfire to the fire service.

While our day-to-day work is focused on helping businesses stay safe through fire risk assessments, training, and fire protection services, fire safety doesn’t stop when we leave a client’s premises.

Seeing the signs of a wildfire and acting quickly to report it is a reminder that fire awareness is everyone’s responsibility. A simple phone call can make a huge difference, helping the fire service respond before a small fire becomes something much more serious.

After days of extremely high temperatures, the fire was spreading quickly but thankfully, South Wales Fire & Rescue were already aware and had crew on route.

At The Fire People, we’re committed to protecting businesses, people, and our communities – because fire safety is about prevention, vigilance, and taking action when it matters.

Salary: £28-£32k to be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.

A client contacted us after receiving a letter from the Welsh Government highlighting the fire risks presented by lithium-ion batteries in their Community Council office.
