The SCOTTISH NATIONAL PARTY was established in Glasgow on 7 Apr. 1934, with the merger of the National Party of Scotland (founded on 11 Feb. 1928) and the Scottish Party (formed 1932). Locally we have two branches, Cumbernauld Branch SNP and Kilsyth Branch SNP, who campaign across our constituency for the SNP. Our local elected representatives are:

This Thursday, 7th May, the polls will open for you to vote in the Scottish Parliament election to return me as your constituency representative for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. I have been immensely proud to represent our area in that role since 2011. With me as your MSP, you are not only ensuring a voice that will always work for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth first, but also an SNP representative who are the ONLY party that have Scotland as a priority. SNP SUPPORT FOR FIRST TIME BUYERS

The SNP has pledged to create a £100 million First Homes Fund for first-time buyers who can receive up to £10,000 to help them onto the property ladder.

Too many young people in Scotland are struggling to afford to buy their own home. This fund will help them do so, through government support to create a shared equity scheme that lets them take that step to buy their first home.

It is only the SNP that will take action to help people in Scotland and this measure is just one step that a SNP Scottish Government will take if we are returned to Government following the election. That’s why it needs to be both votes SNP on Thursday 7th May.
