🚒 RECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚒

For the first time in over 6 years we have vacancies for on-call firefighters here at Cullompton.

*IMPORTANT*
We are looking for committed individuals that are available to attend emergencies during the daytime and you must be able to reach the fire station within 5 minutes of being alerted. Exact hours can be discussed, but you would need to be available during the daytime for at least 35 hours a week.

Are you looking for a new challenge and a chance to serve your community?

Potential applicants must meet the following thresholds in order to apply:

🔥 Able to respond to the station within 5 mins, if you are doing so from work, you must have employers permission.

🔥 Must be no younger than 17 and a half when applying for the role.

🔥 Good standard of fitness in order to reach level 8.8 on the 20 meter bleep test.

We'll discuss the times that you can be available and answer any questions about the role that you may have. We train every Monday between 1830 and 2030, we would love the opportunity to meet you.

A drought has been declared across Devon and Somerset, and surrounding areas 🚨

Hot, dry conditions mean a higher risk of wildfires and increased pressure on water supplies.

We’re reducing non-essential water use, reviewing firefighting water supplies, and ensuring our wildfire resources – including water bowsers, 4x4s, ATVs and drones – are ready to respond.

Help to protect each other, and our countryside and water supplies, by:

🔥 Avoiding campfires and disposable BBQs
🍖 Staying with BBQs and fire pits
🚬 Never dropping lit ci******es on dry ground
💧 Using water wisely

CAR WASH DAY IS HERE!!

The crew are on station and ready to wash your car. Come down with your car(s) get them washed a d make a donation to the Firefighters charity. We're here to 2pm.

This Saturday is our annual charity car wash at the station, come down and get your car washed by the crew, it would be great to see you.

📆 - Saturday 25 April
⏰ - 9am -2pm
💳 - Card and Cash accepted
💰 - No fixed fee, just make a donation
🚒 - All donations in aid of the Firefighters Chairity
