***update/ Important notice***
Hi everyone just wanted to update you with our open hours this week. Unfortunately we will be continuing to close at 2pm for the rest of this week, we can only apologise for what a crazy week this has been. Sharon popped in for a couple of hours today to get paperwork done and was still struggling alot with her hearing and feeling weak, she is almost completely deaf at present. Due to this she is unable to serve customers and by 2pm I can barely stand. We are terrible sorry for the inconvenience this is causing especially at such a busy time of the year.
On the positive side we will have a new member of staff joining us in the new year so we can hopefully avoid this situation in the future.
Thanks again for bearing with us at this busy time. And thank you to all our lovely loyal customers and local businesses who have supported us, nipped in and checked on me and just been amazing at this difficult time.

**Important Notice**
Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for baring with us over the past few days with sharon (mum) being off sick, it has been incredibly busy and having to shorten our hours. Sharon is still really poorly with a bad ear infection and still won't be able to return to work for a couple more days. With that in mind, my family commitments and the need to organise all the other things in the Office, I will be closing at 2pm definitely Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday 2pm as usual, with the hope to return to a 4pm closing on Thursday, Providing sharon is well enough to return. I know this is frustrating, especially at this time of year, I am doing the best I can in a very difficult situation and really appreciate everyone's understanding and patience.
I Will keep the page updated if anything changes.

Hello everyone
We just wanted to thank you for the overwhelming support and well wishes we have received from you all. We really appreciate it, it has really helped us through this difficult time.
We just wanted to give everyone notice that we will be holding dad's funeral on
Wednesday 29th May so we will be closed for the day. We hope to be reopen as normal on Thursday 30ths May.

Good afternoon everyone
We just wanted to pop up a post as we have heard a lot of rumors that we are closing, We just wanted to assure everyone this is not the case. We believe the rumor is due to the fact we had to close early on Tuesday 23rd April due to a family emergency.
Unfortunately the postmistress husband/my dad passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. We are open and running as normal as we want to keep busy. We really appreciate your kindness, patience and understanding during this incredibly difficult time. We will continue running the post office and have no plans to close, we are doing the best we can in the impossibly awful situation. We will close for a couple of days at the end of May for dad's funeral. We will update everyone with the exact date as soon as we know Ourselves.
We just want to thank our lovely loyal customers for all your support during this time.
