Election day! Please get out there and Vote Conservative. It's our only chance to rescue the green fields of Croxley Green from the LibDems' 'presumption in favour of development', and to stop them pouring our money down the drain just as they pour concrete on our fields. Vote Blue to stay green.

Who is taking care of our community facilities? Just as we need to build back better community links, we may lose a valuable community hall, at the very heart of Croxley Green. The Red Cross Centre was built to provide a venue for the Welcome Club and for British Red Cross activities locally. Now the Red Cross have changed their policies on hiring out facilities, we may lose the whole centre.
Croxley Green Parish Council has offered to take the building on, refurbish it and run it for the benefit of the community. Nothing seems to be happening even though the Parish Council is keen to progress.
I believe that the Red Cross Centre should be maintained for the benefit of the local community and fully support Croxley Green Parish Council in protecting it for future generations.

Happy - very happy at the result, and hereabouts we have an excellent new MP in Gagan Mohindra, whom Croxley folk will soon be getting to know (and many have met already of course). The volunteers can rest our feet after an intensive campaign, and even think about family and Christmas at last - but for Gagan there is no rest!

It has never been more important to get out and Vote Conservative - the alternative is too frightening to think about. Corbyn's policies are not just the crippling taxes, the emptying out of the profits form which wages are paid - it would be to trash the economy and society irreparably. That is not just 5 years - it is a generation.

If we have been silent here for a while, it is mainly because meeting actual people is a priority, not pixels. Posting on social media is a bit like standing on a box orating in an empty street, but in case anyone does pass, we're on the starting blocks for a general election, if the House of Commons should be gracious enough to permit one. We're lucky they Commons have not sought to extend their own sitting forever, like in 1653.

Don't kill Rickmansworth. The LibDem parking charges will devastate the High Street. The Conservative pledge is reverse those charges, to keep out shops open. Don't forget to vote Conservative on Thursday 3 May.
