Crowborough Town Council now has a facebook and a twitter account in order to engage with as many Crowborough residents as possible, as well as the council website. It is intended to issue relevant and useful information to Crowborough residents and also to promote Crowborough Town Council events throughout the year.

🎾Want to play your part in opening up tennis or padel in your local community ? Find out more about becoming an Activator !

Being an Activator isn’t the same as being a Coach, anyone can be a tennis or padel Activator - even if they’ve never coached the sport before and you don't need a specific qualification. All you need is a passion for helping people get active and playing sport.

LTA - Tennis For Britain is running a free Activator training course in conjunction with the Eastbourne Major Event

• 10am-1pm
• Old Town Hub, BN20 8HY
• Free Grounds Passes to attend the Lexus Eastbourne Open at Devonshire Park

📢 STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD!
Crowborough Town Council are looking for local young people to join the Youth Ambassador Board.
The Board is made up of young people (year 9,10,11 or 12 at school) who live in Crowborough (or within 3 miles) who have a passion for their town and want the chance to get the voice of young people heard by Crowborough’s elected local councillors.

There are 7 ambassadors in total – 4 will be elected via Beacon Academy and 3 will be co-opted by a panel of councillors.

Beacon Academy students will be able to apply at school and young people who live in Crowborough but don’t go to school at Beacon Academy can apply direct to the council using the information on the website:

Whether it was walking backwards for more than 50 miles, setting the world record for the pogo stick, setting the world record for the longest hole in golf, or competing against the train in race down Mt Snowdon - Charlie never shied away from a challenge. The Mayor Cllr Natalie Whittle had a wonderful time celebrating local talent at an art event last week hosted by Claire Nash Solicitors in partnership with local charity, Rotherfield St Martin .

She enjoyed seeing the beautiful artwork created by members of Rotherfield St Martin Art Club, and chatting to the artists and supporters of this vital charity.
