Much to be grateful for today, not only did it stay dry for our outing, I get a solo pic too!

Thank you to Fiona for taking the pic, and also local residents who approached us to give thanks for our efforts, and that they have seen a much appreciated improvement of areas in the town.

This is a massive piece of consolidated evidence that improvement is taking place, making these events worthwhile.

Well done The Gleam Team!

Also, thank you in advance to Strathearn JAC who are hosting their own litter picking event tomorrow (31st).

This is part of their community day at MacRosty Park, we hope it is a great success!

It was a bit of a mix of light rain and sunshine today—fortunately nothing like our last outing before the hailstorm!

A big thank you to newcomer Megan, established team members Mark, Peter, Tim, Colin and Stewart for joining this afternoon’s venture.

Also, thanks to PKC’s Service Team member Colin, who continues to tackle the midweek pickings—the town is looking fantastic! 👌

The next scheduled litter pick will meet at James Square at 2pm on Saturday 30th May.

All are welcome.

Many thanks to Gordon for braving the phenomenal deluge that preceded this afternoon’s litter pick. 🌧

The planters in the Square certainly enjoyed a well‑deserved drink! 🥛

I unfortunately can’t guarantee the weather for these litter picks, but what I can guarantee is my gratitude to all past, present and future participants at these events who help keep our town tidy.

Thank you all!

The next litter pick will take place from James Square at 2pm on Sunday 17th May.

All are very welcome.

Best wishes,
Mark Xx.

Marvelously sunny for this afternoon's litter pick. 🦺🌞👌

Thank you Avril, Fiona, newcomer Julia, Abby, Thea, Josh, Fiona, Elaine and Mark!

Our next sheduled litter pick will be on Saturday 2nd May at 2pm at James Square.

As the weather continues to improve, we welcome the community to get involved.

The events take approx 1hr to complete between 2-3pm, enough time to get stuck in, then put your feet up for the rest of the afternoon as a well deserved treat! ☕️🫖

Looking forward to seeing you!

So much again to be greatful for this week, (not the weather obviously), that Storm Dave did not dampen nor diminish the spirits of the Gleam Team this afternoon with another fab turnout. 🦺

Many thanks to Gordon, Fiona, Elaine, Colin, Mark, Stewart, newcomer to the team Vivian, and town visitors Barbara & Lindsay for enduring the cold and unpleasant yellow warning storm.

Special mention goes to our new PKC Service Team member Colin (not pictured), who has been working behind the scenes cleaning Crieff's streets for the past few months, we have seen a dramatic drop in litter thanks to his hard work. 💪

We are definitely hopeful for better weather for our next sheduled litter pick on Sunday 19th April at 2pm from James Square.

This next litter pick has been registered with Keep Scotland Beautiful as part of Spring Clean Month 2026, so please come along!

All welcome.
