Don’t just get angry about potholes — help us take action! 🚧

Like many of you, I’m incredibly frustrated with the state of our roads. Our PC shares that frustration, too.

Despite all the talk about potholes in February, our villages weren’t even mentioned once in the latest monthly Safety Defect report, published by Somerset Council.

That’s simply not good enough.

I have reported another 3 sets of potholes this week, but from what I have read on FB from residents, there must be lots more that should already be in the system.

👉 Here’s where you can help:

I can only chase these up if I have the official reference numbers.

📩 If you’ve reported a pothole, please send me your reference number (you should have received one — see example below).

Going forward, every time you report a pothole, please

Send me the details, or

Share it here on the West & Middle Chinnock Parish Council page

This way, I can track what’s been reported, push for action, and make sure our villages are no longer ignored.

Together, we can make some noise — and get our roads fixed.
